This is not a conference built around passive presentations. The Viscadia Forecasting Workshop is an immersive, in-person learning experience where attendees engage directly with the topics, questions, and decisions that define forecasting across the product lifecycle.
Whether you are building forecasts, informing them through insights, pressure-testing assumptions, or communicating outcomes to leadership, you will leave with sharper thinking, stronger cross-functional perspective, and tools you can put to work immediately.
The program begins with a welcome reception and continues with two full days of interactive workshop sessions.
The Ingredients and Architecture of Forecasting
Day 1 kicks off in the morning exploring the foundations of forecasting, beginning with the key business decisions forecasts support and the research, data, and methodologies that drive high-quality forecasts. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of how qualitative and quantitative market research, secondary research, and real-world data come together before a model is ever built.
In the afternoon, the focus shifts to forecast design and model construction across the product lifecycle. Participants will learn how forecasting models evolve from early pipeline assets through launch and mature brands, gaining practical insight into model architecture, assumptions, and forecasting approaches used in real-world business decisions.
The day concludes with a group networking dinner in Washington, DC.
Applied Forecasting, Challenges, and What's Next
Day 2 moves beyond theory into real-world application through case studies and collaborative discussion. Attendees will explore forecasting challenges across the product lifecycle, stakeholder management, organizational dynamics, and how market research can strengthen forecasting decisions.
The workshop concludes with a practical look at AI in forecasting, exploring today's real-world use cases, emerging opportunities, and where AI is likely to have the greatest impact on forecasting workflows in the years ahead.
